Annette Badland is a recurring guest star on Ted Lasso, where she plays "Mae" — either a barmaid or the landlady at Ted's local.
Badland is one of the UK's hardest-working actors, with an impressive resumé that extends back to the 1970s. However, 21st century audiences may know here from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, EastEnders, Outlander, Wizards vs. Aliens, Midsomer Murders, Doctors and as one of the series-long villains in the Chistopher Eccleston year on Doctor Who.
