Arlo Dixon is a recurring character featured in the Apple TV+ show, Ted Lasso, and a footballer, playing Right Back for AFC Richmond. He is seen with other team members and even participates in group activities such as karaoke and dancing in clubs.
During a match against Manchester City F.C., he failed two times to score some goals. The first shot from him pushes over the bar but gets a corner kick for Richmond. Dani Rojas uses a Trick Play of "The Sandman" in which he kicks a dummy and passes the ball to three people (Richard Montlaur, Gareth Canterbury, Colin Hughes) and lastly to Arlo. Arlo kicks the ball hard but fails as the goalkeeper Hamlin from Manchester catches it with his foot.
When Zava joins Richmond, just like every team players, they are very smitten and in awe to see the superstar player in the locker room. And when the new player brings so many goals, he and the rest of the players are following his lifestyle by doing some meditations.
During the match against West Ham United F.C., Richmond lost at the first half-time game. To inspire the team, the coaches Roy Kent and Coach Beard shows them a video of Nathan Shelley ripping the BELIEVE sign to half, but it backfired as the players are pissed and they starts to play rough and chaotic. Arlo tries to steal a ball from Allouche, but he grabs his kit from behind instead, and pushes him hard to the ground, which earns him a red card, and he's out of the game.
Richmond visits Amsterdam for an Exhibition Match (Friendlies Match) against AFC Ajax, and Ted Lasso tells everyone to have fun in Amsterdam for the whole night to lift their spirits, which actually makes him excited. Their captain Isaac McAdoo tells everyone to meet up in the lobby of their hotel so they can decide where to go and what to do.
Arlo asks whether deleting his own photos will delete their memories
At the lobby of their hotel, the team can't decide where are they going to do. They spend the whole night arguing, discussing, and voting where to go and what to do, when they finally decides to play pillow fights at the lobby of their hotel. In the morning, the team's spirit are lifted and they go home to England with a better mood.
When there are many nude photos of celebrities are leaked on the internet, the team discusses whether they should delete their photos from their phones. Colin Hughes thinks that deleting photos makes no sense because it feels like deleting their memories, but many disagrees. Arlo asks what if he took the photos himself, and Isaac is adamant that he should delete it anyway.
It's not until Sam Obisanya informs that their friend Keeley Jones's pictures are among the leaked ones and now are spread all over the internet that Arlo decides to delete his own pictures and not arguing anymore.

Notes[]
- According to actor and creator Jason Sudeikis during the 60Minutes interview, Arlo Dixon was based on Arlo White (famous English football commentator and used in the show as the main commentator) and Lee Dixon (his frequent partner on calling games as the "analyst" and is a former English National Team player, most famous for his days at Arsenal).
- During the episode The Strings That Bind Us, Colin Hughes calls him "Ash" (his real name) instead of Arlo. Whether this was an accident, a mistake, or a deliberate retcon, it was unknown.
