But Sam ensures him that the earth has 24 different time zones, so Santa Claus will be able to deliver gifts in no time because his superpower is not his speed but his endurance. Jan Maas says that it was not true with the Helter Skelter murders, which prompt some glares from his friends.

They manage to fit the rest of the players for dinner because they extended the dinner table with Dana's surf board, and everyone is happily eating and drinking. Tommy Winchester brought an original Nigerian dish Jollof with goat meat instead of chicken, which makes Sam very happy. Ted is facetiming with Henry who opens his present excitedly. Apparently, Ted gifted him a drone as some sort of an apology present for not being there. Henry can't wait to try to fly the drone and immediately leaves. Michelle wishes Ted a Merry Christmas and hang up the call. Ted is dejected because he didn't expect the Christmas would be like this and not lasted only for a few minutes from a long distance call. He misses his family so much, he starts drinking whiskey and watching a rerun of "It's A Wonderful Life" alone on TV.

Rebecca throws some pebbles to his window and Ted is surprised to see his boss outside his flat and he sees Rebecca wrote "HI TED" on the street using some Christmas decoration; a call back when Ted had written "HI BOSS" in the field using the team players. Rebecca asks him to accompany her around, knowing that Ted is alone and lonely during Christmas. As they are walking leisurely around the area, they watches street buskers singing a cover of George Michael's "Last Christmas". Rebecca gives them a wad of money, which the singers exclaim "Holy shit!".

In the street they bump into Mr. Mann who drunkenly greets Ted with a "Hey, wanker!" and wishes him a Merry Christmas and he also flips him a bird. Ted cheerfully greets him back while Rebecca is shocked to hear him cursing the coach. Ted explains that it's an inside joke between him and Mr. Mann, although it's mostly for the old man's benefit.

When they are done in the evening, Ted thanked Rebecca for letting him to tag along.
