Gareth Canterbury was a recurring character featured in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso, and a Left Back player for AFC Richmond. He was usually seen along with other team members and even participated in group activities such as karaoke and dancing in clubs. He played for one season and then his position is replaced by Babatunde.
He suggested "Dirty Martini" as one of the elaborate set pieces during the Trick plays meeting, Ted Lasso commented that he wanted to run that play three times just for the heck of it.

During a match against Manchester City F.C., their Captain Isaac McAdoo told everyone to do the 'Lasso Special' in which he positioned himself as an Offensive Guard on the far left side.
He was last seen with other team members in the locker room when they lost to Manchester City F.C. looking defeated.
