Gus Turner is an American born British Award winning actor, a singer, a voice-actor, a stage actor in Broadway, the recurring actor featured in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso, and played the character Henry Lasso; Ted Lasso and Michelle Lasso's son.
History[]
Gus Turner was born and raised in New York City and then moved to London when he turned four years old. He has been acting since he was a little child, and Ted Lasso was his first television role.
Gus still spends a lot of time in the United States and can speak with a native East Coast American accent as well as an English accent. His hobbies are making music and movies, basketball, tennis, and cooking. He holds both British and American nationalities.

He had some theatrical experience both in school and off-Broadway. He's also done some voice acting for at least one video game as of early 2020 and most popular one was Lego The Video Game. Gus has been acting since he was four-years-old. A natural performer, he has played lead roles in school plays and Stagecoach productions such as Bugsy Malone and The Wizard of Oz, as well as an unboxing music video for Kate Bush. He has also featured in Life After Life (BBC), Loki (Disney+) and as a Big Un in Lord of the Flies (BBC) recently. As well as Lord of the Flies, Gus has a guest star role in a Netflix Limited Series coming out in 2026.
Awards[]
Gus won a National Film Awards as the Best Newcomer in 2024 for his role as Henry Lasso in Ted Lasso. He delivered a speech and thanked his mother, his agent, and the team at Ted Lasso.
He was also nominated for Young Artist Award ‘Streaming Series - Young Supporting Actor’ for his work as Henry Lasso on Ted Lasso.
