Havel is a minor character featured in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso, a football player, and the Captain for West Ham United F.C..
Havel is the Center Back player and also the Captain for West Ham United, his number is 5 just like Isaac McAdoo the Captain from AFC Richmond. West Ham is owned by Rupert Mannion after he bought it and then he hired Nathan Shelley as the head coach and manager of the club. Nate is a very strict coach and likes to berate his players, even calling them dumb.
However, it seems Havel listens to his coach and follows his instruction to a tee, as he listen to Nate very attentively in the locker room before the match against Richmond.
During the match, Thierry Zoreaux manages to hold up West Ham's goals until he can't when Nate whistles at Havel and tells him via hand codes to change the strategy against their opponent. Havel understood the assignment and tells his teammates to change their elaborate set piece which confuses the Richmond players and coaches.
Coach Beard and Roy Kent are shocked to see their former coach manages to swiftly tells West Ham players to get into the offense maneuver. Armando scores a goal for his club and wins the half-time.
Dani and Captain Havel are having an argument
The second half of the match, every Richmond player plays very dirty and aggressively. Many of them attack or provokes the West Ham players, even physically fight them. Moe Bumbercatch slides and tackles him very roughly, it earns the shorter player a red card, it even surprises football commentators Arlo White and Chris Powell.
In one particular moment, Havel is involved with an argument with Dani Rojas, they're headbutting together and exchange words, until he pushes Dani away. Dani is going to push back, but everyone stops him and both of them must be separated.
West Ham wins the match 4-1 and the players are celebrating in the field with their coach, Nate.
