Ted Lasso Wiki

Jeremy Blumenthal is a recurring character featured in the Apple TV+ show, Ted Lasso. Jeremy and his friends Baz and Paul are all diehard AFC Richmond fans, and watch the matches in The Crown & Anchor. He is a tall fan who likes to jump and hug his friends and other patrons whenever his favorite team scores some goals. He is not as loud as his friend Baz, but not as nice as his friend Paul.

When they announced that Ted Lasso and Coach Beard are coming to England from USA to train AFC Richmond, everyone voicing their objection against the American coaches, especially when they watches Ted's interview about how much he doesn't know anything about football.

After some losses and wins, Jeremy and his friends comes over to Beard and Ted to say 'thanks' for all of the efforts and they know that they did their best, although he still mocks both coaches. They and Mae tells the Americans that they shouldn't hope to win because the hopes only will have a disappointing result.

Baz, Paul, and Jeremy met Beard at The Crown & Anchor after AFC Richmond lost the game to Manchester City F.C. in the FA Cup. The trio discusses for a while about things other than the game, until Beard decides to take them all out on a night out that would take them to a place they would never dare go.

The four of them goes to Bones and Honey, a high class club, and pretending to be Oxford graduates. Beard leaves them in the pub, and they are actually having some fun and wins some pool bets from other patrons. They rent a limo, and finds Beard who is walking alone in the street. They drop Beard off his home, but as a thank you, he gives them a piece of paper which to be given to Renee, a groundskeeper at Nelson Road Stadium to let them spending some time inside the field.

During the match against Brentford, Richmond is able to score a goal and it leads them closer to their club's promotion. They finally win the match in a tie, and everyone is celebrating. All the patrons from the pub including Jeremy are singing "We are going up!"
