Jessica Darling is a minor character featured in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso, and John Wingsnight's wife.

John accidentally bump into Rebecca Welton at the coffee shop where they used to date. Rebecca notices that he has a Manchester United F.C. scarf around his neck, and he's bringing his fiancée named Jessica Darling, and admits to both of them that he usually went to the café regularly, hoping to see Rebecca. Jessica finds it funny and thanked Rebecca because after the breakup, they both end up together after matching on a dating site - but not Bantr.

John starts prattling about how he and Jessica went to see Hamilton and argued with Sir Anthony Hopkins after the celebrity refused to acknowledge Jessica. She calls John as her Shite in Nineing Armor but then laughs because she meant her Knight in Shining Armor. Rebecca is horrified to hear her comment and cannot believe what she is hearing.

Before the final match between Richmond and West Ham United F.C., John and Jessica are buying tickets at the Nelson Road Stadium ticket booth, a little bit upset because they couldn't get the VIP section so they have to settle with the regular one. They are complaining about how the ticket seller is looking at them like a psychopath. They are seated behind the West Ham goal post at the upper rows so they can watch the match better.

During the penalty, Isaac McAdoo gets a chance to score a goal after Jamie Tartt and Dani Rojas passed the ball to him. He kicks the ball very hard and it goes to the crowd. At first, everyone assumes that Isaac missed the goal but after referee Mike Dean checking the net, it seems he kicked the ball very hard, it went through the goal nets and hits John's face. His nose is broken and there is blood all over his face, but it doesn't matter because the referee declare it as a goal, and cheers erupted from the crowd, including from him and Jessica.

John is screaming happily because Richmond scores a penalty goal and he kisses his wife passionately, covering her face with blood. Everyone, including Rebecca, Keeley Jones, and Flo Collins are shocked to see so much blood on the jumbotron. Barbara, however, is happy to see blood in the football match so she gives an applause to see John's blood. In the end, Richmond wins the match, and he sports a visible protective plastic mask and celebrates the winning with his wife and other fans.
