Joanna Wellington was an unseen minor character mentioned in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso. Keeley Jones mentioned a situation involving Joanna when confronting Rebecca Welton on why she hadn't told Ted Lasso the truth about why she hired him to manage AFC Richmond.
A paparazzi took some pictures of Keeley and Roy Kent kissing which angered him, and in return, took his memory card away. Both Keeley and Roy were surprised to see there were pictures of Keeley and Ted, and she realized that Rebecca hired a paparazzo to arranged the pictures. She confronted Rebecca about it angrily, and told her off by saying she need to tell the truth to Ted.
Keeley demanded that Rebecca tell Ted that she tried to sabotage him and the club, or else she would not forgive her and change her feeling about her. The boss lady seemed to be taken aback from her demand and sad that her best friend thought of her as this manipulative person. She didn't want to tell Ted because they were in a really good working relationship now, telling him would only hurt everyone and it would jeopardize their friendship.
Keeley mentioned how in Year 8 at school, she took a dump in Joanna's locker and after apologizing and being uninvited to Joanna's birthday party, they patched it up a week later. The aim of this was to encourage Rebecca to come clean with Ted which she later did.
