Kokoruda is a minor recurring character in the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, a student from Richmond Primary School. a friend of Phoebe, and a football player for the West London Under 9 Girls.
After Roy Kent's retirement from AFC Richmond, he's been coaching Phoebe's West London Under 9 Girls football team at Richmond Primary School. He's criticizing the children like adults by swearing left and right but at the same time encouraging them to play better. Phoebe's friend, Kokoruda, apparently a great football player, despite her age and height.
Roy tells the children that they are playing like a bunch of pricks, but compliments Kokoruda for the way she put her body on the line while playing the match. She agrees enthusiastically and yells "You know it, coach!" while holding a pack of ice on her head, nursing a head injury.
Roy tells Keeley Jones before the West London Under 9 Girls match that he is going to get the girls to run a 4-4-2 diamond formation because little Kokoruda girl is a beast in defense. Alas, the team lost the match and Roy is telling the girls that they should remember the lost and burn it to their brains. Phoebe asks for the trophies which a disappointed Roy handed the consolation trophies to the players and tell them they are all losing for nothing.
Ms. Bowen reprimand the coach, and tells him that the important thing is that the coach cares about them. Roy begrudgingly tells the girls that it has been an honor coaching them and he hopes everyone would come back next year, but only if they fucking mean it.
