Kris Higgins is a recurring character featured in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso, and Leslie Higgins' second son with his wife, Julie Higgins.
He first appears during episode three of series one, sitting at the table, eating breakfast with his family and he listens to his father talking to Rebecca Welton in a flustered way on the phone. When the other family's car is being fixed, his mother takes his father to the Nelson Road Stadium office before she takes him and the brothers to school in the morning. He says "Thank you!" when his mother tells them to thanked their father for fixing the car, and then watches Ted Lasso bumps his head on the door frame of the office building.
He attends along with his four siblings the crucial AFC Richmond game against Manchester City F.C. in an effort to avoid relegation. At the VIP balcony, Higgins introduces his family to Rebecca and Keeley Jones, which his boss makes a comment that he has a lot of children more than she realised.
Kris is always taking care of Terry Higgins, his youngest brother who is still in primary school. Both siblings usually seen together especially when they are in a family event.
During Christmas time, the family spends time together and invites AFC Richmond players from abroad England for a Christmas dinner. When Sam Obisanya arrives at their home, Kris greets and compliments him for what Sam had done with the Dubai Air logo, and then adds: "Fuck those guys!". Sam is surprised to hear the teen curses in front of his father, but Higgins just laugh it off and say, "Yes. Fuck 'em."
While waiting for dinner, he and his brothers Lindsay Higgins and Terry Higgins are playing nerf war with Thierry Zoreaux and Dani Rojas, and it seems they are having fun. His younger brother Dana Higgins play a video game with Richard Montlaur. His other brother, Steve Higgins is watching Richard's beautiful date, Emmanuel, in awe.
During dinner, he sits next to Tyler Shannon and Tommy Winchester, witnessing Sam exclaim in joy to find out that Tommy has brought a bowl of Jollof with goat meat. He sips a glass of red wine, and asks Robbie Roberts to give him a plate of food.
Higgins then acknowledge the players that it is an honor to have them with the family to share the traditions and make new ones. After the toast, the family and the players heard Rebecca and Ted singing with a bunch of street buskers outside their house. Everyone goes outside and happily singing and dancing together in the street.
Kris is last seen hanging around with his family and the rest of the Richmond players at his family BBQ party.
