Ray was a minor character featured in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso, and a football fan who supports AFC Richmond. He was there at the crucial game for Richmond's relegation battle, between Richmond and Manchester City F.C..
Ray wore Richmond coloured face-paint and was gutted to see Man City score the last-minute winner, assisted by Jamie Tartt who was a former Richmond striker, relegating Richmond to the Championship.
