Robbie Roberts is a recurring character featured in the Apple TV+ show, Ted Lasso, and a Forward player for AFC Richmond. He is seen with other team members and even participates in group activities such as karaoke and dancing in clubs. He usually hangs out with other players such as Kukoč, O'Brien, Gareth Canterbury, Tommy Winchester, Jack Dawkins, Anders Rosenfeldt, Martin De Maat, Declan Cockburn, and Tyler Shannon.

During a match against Watford F.C., their manager Ted Lasso decides to replace Jamie Tartt with Robbie. When Ted calls him to get warm-up, he obliges, not knowing which player he's supposed to replace. When the highlighter shows the numbers, everyone is in shock including Robbie himself. He looks back at Ted, questioning the decision. The decision is proven to be successful because after Jamie is replaced, the team wins the match and everyone is celebrating on the field.

Robbie is shown throwing something into the bin during the "ghost cleansing" ceremony, possibly a key.

Leslie Higgins asks him and the team players to spend some Christmas time with his family. During his dinner speech, Higgins acknowledges Robbie's hometown and other team players' countries and that it is an honor to have everyone share their traditions and make new ones.

When Zava joins Richmond, just like every team players, he is very smitten and in awe to see the superstar player in the locker room. Robbie has to be hold back by Kukoč from getting closer to Zava when the superstar walks into the room. Robbie seems to disapproved that Thierry Zoreaux changes his name to 'Van Damme' after Zava says that he should change the name.

Richmond visits Amsterdam for an Exhibition Match (Friendlies Match) against AFC Ajax, and Ted tells everyone to have fun in Amsterdam for the whole night to lift their spirits. Their captain Isaac McAdoo tells everyone to meet up in the lobby of their hotel so they can decide where to go and what to do. At the lobby of their hotel, the team can't decide where are they going to do. Jan Maas offers they go to a private party at Groningen which makes some of them object because it takes two hours to go the party.

They spend the whole night arguing, discussing, and voting where to go and what to do, when they finally decides to play pillow fights at the lobby of their hotel. In the morning, he and the team's spirit are lifted and they go home to England with a better mood.

Robbie and his fellow teammates help Sam to clean up and renovate his restaurant, Ola's, which was vandalized when Sam criticized the British government for refusing the Nigerian and other African immigrants entering the U.K. He and the other teammates spending some quality times together in the restaurant, eating together like a family alongside with Sam's father, Ola Obisanya.

Robbie thinks it's okay to keep personal nude pictures

When there are many nude photos of celebrities are leaked on the internet, the team discusses whether they should delete their photos from their phones. Colin Hughes thinks that deleting photos makes no sense because it feels like deleting their memories, but many disagrees. Dani Rojas mentions that it's the right thing to do just like Jean Valjean from Les Misérables, and Robbie heartily agrees. However, Robbie thinks that it's okay to keep his own personal nude pictures.

It's not until Sam Obisanya informs that their friend Keeley Jones's pictures are among the leaked ones and now are spread all over the internet that Robbie decides to delete his own pictures after he argues that it would take months, but Isaac is adamant with the whole thing.
