Sasha Kukoč is a recurring character featured in the Apple TV+ show, Ted Lasso, and a football player for AFC Richmond. His first name is finally revealed from the actors' social media where they posted a picture of the team players' names.

Kukoč is the shortest player among the team and there is a possibility that he is one of the youngest players in the club.

After their devastating loss against Manchester City during the FA Cup semi-final, James Tartt burst into their locker room and starts insulting Jamie Tartt and the rest of the team players, ended up with the old man getting punched by his son. The players are stunned and not able to do anything about it, however at the same time some of the players such as Moe Bumbercatch, Declan Cockburn, and Paul Reynolds want to help Jamie but get restrained by Jack Dawkins and Kukoč so the situation won't escalate.

Kukoč is seen with other players in the field celebrating the club's victory against Brentford FC.

When Zava joins Richmond, just like every team players, he is very smitten and in awe to see the superstar player in the locker room. He has to hold back Robbie Roberts from getting closer to Zava when the superstar walks into the room. Kukoč seems to disapproved that Thierry Zoreaux changes his name to 'Van Damme' after Zava says that he should change the name.

Richmond visits Amsterdam for an Exhibition Match (Friendlies Match) against AFC Ajax, and Ted Lasso tells everyone to have fun in Amsterdam for the whole night to lift their spirits. Their captain Isaac McAdoo tells everyone to meet up in the lobby of their hotel so they can decide where to go and what to do. At the lobby of their hotel, the team can't decide where are they going to do. Jan Maas offers they go to a private party at Groningen which makes some of them object because it takes two hours to go the party. Thierry insists that they should see a live sex show, and Kukoč seems to object with the idea.

They spend the whole night arguing, discussing, and voting where to go and what to do, when they finally decides to play pillow fights at the lobby of their hotel. In the morning, he and the team's spirit are lifted and they go home to England with a better mood.

Kukoč and his fellow teammates help Sam to clean up and renovate his restaurant, Ola's, which was vandalized when Sam criticized the British government for refusing the Nigerian and other African immigrants entering the U.K. He and the other teammates spending some quality times together in the restaurant, eating together like a family alongside with Sam's father, Ola Obisanya.

When there are many nude photos of celebrities are leaked on the internet, the team discusses whether they should delete their photos from their phones. Colin Hughes thinks that deleting photos makes no sense because it feels like deleting their memories, but many disagrees.

Kukoč asks what if the photos are Christmas cards, and Jamie orders him to delete them.

It's not until Sam Obisanya informs that their friend Keeley Jones's pictures are among the leaked ones and now are spread all over the internet that Kukoč decides to delete his own pictures and not arguing anymore.

After the last match between Richmond and West Ham United F.C. for the Premier League rank, he is last seen running to the field after the match ended and celebrates the winning with his friends. He is jumping, hopping, and dancing along his manager Ted Lasso who is dancing in the middle of the team circle after beating West Ham.
