Tottenham Hotspur F.C. or Spurs is a professional football club based in Tottenham, London, England, and competes in the Premier League, the top flight of English football and featured in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso.

Founded in 1882, Tottenham's emblem is a cockerel standing upon a football, with the Latin motto Audere est Facere ("to dare is to do"). The club has traditionally worn white shirts and navy blue shorts home kit and they have a long-standing rivalry with nearby club Arsenal. The club has a large fan base in the United Kingdom, drawn largely from North London.

Jamie Tartt has returned to AFC Richmond after being fired from Lust Conquer All and Manchester City F.C., Roy Kent refuses to coach him especially now he play it safe. They both argue but Ted Lasso say that Jamie is mature now and Roy should be a mature person too, which prompt Roy to insult Ted for making Jamie a lame player. Roy tells Jamie to be an asshole player on the field but not in real life, and he will give him a sign when to be a prick.

During the match against Spurs, Roy and the coaches are giving him a signal to be a prick, by flipping him the bird. Jamie understood the assignment and immediately baits other rival player Barnett by insulting him, which gives him a chance to have a free kick. Everyone is afraid that Jamie's free kick is too far, but Roy believes that he can do it, which he does and the team is leading.

However, Ted suddenly runs away from the stadium which makes everyone confused. Football commentators Arlo White and Chris Powell thinks that Ted ate a bad fish pie and has a stomach problem.

A frustrated Nathan Shelley orders Tommy Winchester, Paul Reynolds, and Babatunde to substitute Dani Rojas, Colin Hughes, and Richard Montlaur's positions, and also orders Isaac McAdoo to use the "Park The Bus" defensive strategy to win the match. Both Beard and Roy just silently watches Nate takes over, but it doesn't matter because they win the match against Spurs.

Lloyd is interviewing and congratulating Nate for the club's win against Spurs. He asks what happened to Ted beforehand when he left in the middle of the match, talks about risky Trick plays for the match, and then praises Nate for his strategy. Nate talks about the strategy and humblebrags that he's not some kind of "wonder kid", which Lloyd corrects him that the phrase is "wunderkind".
