Synopsis[]
While watching Henry, Ted fights the urge to spiral when Michelle and Dr. Jacob go on a romantic trip. An online leak has massive implications for Keeley.
Plot[]
AFC Richmond go on a four win streak, beating the links of Aston Villa, Southampton, Tottenham and Everton. Later, Ted meets Michelle and Dr Jacob at the pub where Michelle reveals they are off to Paris which shocks him. Jack and Keeley meanwhile accept an event invite from Jack’s Uncle where they have to dress up. Keeley then gets a disturbing message. Nate is in bed with Jade where they discuss their relationship while Keeley finds out that a video has leaked of her that may affect her career and relationships with family members. Jack says she will help clear it up.
At Nelson Road Stadium, Will is guiding Henry on being a kitman as Trent, Roy and Beard watch on. Ted convenes the Diamond Dogs to discuss Michelle and Dr Jacob’s trip to Paris where he suspects they will get engaged. The group tell Ted he shouldn’t worry until a proposal happens. Nate convenes a new group called the “Love Hounds”, serving a similar purpose to the Diamond Dogs. The group doesn’t work how Nate intended it however and he disbands it quickly. Ted sees Rebecca about hiring a private investigator to see if Michelle and Dr Jacob are going to get engaged and Rebecca reluctantly agrees to look into it. In the KJPR office, Barbara hands Keeley a statement from Jack that Keeley should post, apologizing for the video - Keeley is shocked to see this. The Richmond players discuss the leak and Isaac tells players to delete everything off their phones to avoid the risk of anything leaking. Roy pauses at the whiteboard when he hears Keeley has been affected. Colin leaves the room having not deleted anything and Isaac follows, annoyed Colin hasn’t. He snatches Colin’s phone off him and sees images on there and hands Colin’s phone back, nodding.
Jack cancels the event with her Uncle, citing press that may be on Keeley there, and they agree to go and play crazy golf. Ted and Beard have the day off with Henry who wants to go and watch football, to the irony of Ted on his day off. They go and watch the West Ham game where Henry calls out to Nate who acknowledges him. Later, Nate gets a message from Rupert, apologizing for Ted attending, for which Nate initially wants to send a light-hearted reply, but he eventually sends a reply thanking Rupert. After the game, Ted and Beard take Henry to the pub where Mae initially refuses to serve them after finding out they’ve been to a West Ham game. Ted takes a call from Rebecca who asks him if he still wants the investigator. “Hey Jude” is playing in the background and as Beard explains the meaning to Henry, Rebecca says Ted needs to let Michelle go and spend time with his son. Ted agrees and sings the song with Henry and Beard. Meanwhile, Jack and Keeley have an argument over the prepared statement and video leak, with Jack saying Keeley shouldn’t have made the video in the first place. After Keeley says she isn’t ashamed of it, Jack leaves, unsure if she’ll come back. Nate is looking over news articles from the game and Jade says he needs to celebrate his wins more. There, she calls Nate her “boyfriend”, giving Nate the label he was looking for earlier.
Jamie visits Keeley to apologize, revealing to the audience that the video had been sent to him and that he had forgotten to delete it from his email before the hack. Keeley hugs him and thanks him for reaching out. Ted says goodbye to Henry and Michelle and notices Michelle did not get engaged in Paris. Henry and Michelle leave and looking out the window, Ted observes Henry run past Dr Jacob into the taxi.
