William "Will" Kitman is a recurring character featured in the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso and the clubhouse attendant for AFC Richmond. He was hired after Nathan Shelley was promoted to the coaching staff. Initially, Nate believed that Will had replaced him and he had been fired. Ever since, while Will has been accepted by the players of AFC Richmond, Nate still appears to have a dislike for Will and the way he does his job.

Will tends to walk into a personal conversation between the characters while he's doing his job which makes him uncomfortable. Generally, others don't mind having him in the room while they are talking in private. Because of his tendency to blabber during the personal conversation, Jamie Tartt threatens him when Roy Kent is pouring his heart out in the shoes room. Knowing that Jamie is not actually angry, only rude, Will mentions that he broke up with his girlfriend and asks both men to hangout.

From the beginning, Will has been a subject of rudeness from Nate. When Will asks for permission to go home early and attend his mother's birthday, Nate insults him. It culminates when Will presents Nate with a Jersey that says 'Wonder Kid', which angers Nate because he thought that Will is mocking him so he berates and threatens him.

The team members of Richmond treat him nicely, way better than they treated Nate back then. He also took part in many of the activities that the team have, such as helping them with the choreography dance for Sharon Fieldstone's goodbye party. He is shown to have some fun while blasting the music loudly from his phone.

Will looks so proud while watching the team touching the BELIEVE poster during their final game against Brentford. He is seen celebrating the team's winning against Brentford FC and given a piggy-back ride from Dani Rojas.

Zava greets his new teammates in the locker room, and they are in awe watching him, except Jamie. The tall player acknowledges everyone including Will and praises him for having the important job in the club as a kit man but then gives him a backhanded compliment by calling him an eleven year old boy.

Richmond visits Amsterdam for an Exhibition Match (Friendlies Match) against AFC Ajax, and Ted Lasso tells everyone to have fun in Amsterdam for the whole night to lift their spirits. Leslie Higgins invites him to join him in the Red District, to his surprise, but agrees nonetheless. Apparently, Higgins invites him to a Jazz club and watch some performances. Will and Higgins are bonding over Jazz music, especially watching his boss playing bass on the stage too.

In the morning, Will and the team's spirit are lifted and they go home to England with a better mood. Before they leave, Coach Beard tells him not to tell Jan Maas that he can speak Dutch after seeing him talking to a bunch of Dutch people in costumes. He then calls his mother and tells her that he had a threesome sex with a couple of patrons from the Jazz club.

When there are many nude photos of celebrities are leaked on the internet, the team discusses whether they should delete their photos from their phones. Colin Hughes thinks that deleting photos makes no sense because it feels like deleting their memories, but many disagrees. Isaac McAdoo insists that all of the team players delete all compromising pictures on their phones. Will seems upset deleting some pictures from his phone, seen by Jamie in disbelief.

During a match against Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. Isaac seems distracted, and culminates as a Richmond fan keeps yelling at him, hurling some insults and when he's saying a pejorative term for a gay person, the captain loses it. He confronts the fan and ready to fight, but everyone stops him. Isaac gets a red card and gets kicked out from the match, and the fan also gets booted from the Nelson Road Stadium. Richmond loses the first half, and when the players returns to the locker room, everyone is confused with Isaac's behavior.

Ted asks what happened, and Isaac tells him that the fan said something ignorant, which confuses everyone after Sam tells them that the fan said the "F" word, but it's not "Fuck". Jamie says that they should just ignore people like that, but Isaac angrily says that they shouldn't because what if there's a gay person in the team? Isaac storms out from the locker room, and Moe Bumbercatch thinks aloud that maybe Isaac is gay, hence the anger. The coaches think they should support Isaac for being gay, but Colin confesses that it's not their former captain who is gay, but it's him.

Roy tries to talk with Isaac, but he doesn't want to get yelled at. His coach convinces him that he won't yell at him, in fact, he understood whatever happened isn't what he really angry about. Roy tells Isaac to trust him, and he needs to deal with it sooner or later or he's going to fuck up whatever that he really cares about. Will then chimes in and preaches the exact same thing like what Roy had just said, only more flowery.

News breaks that West Ham United F.C. have suddenly parted with Nate and it gives a lot of speculations of why he left the club. When Will comes to work in the morning, he is surprised to see everything is neat and tidy in the locker room. He discovers a note from Nate that he's sorry for treating him bad, and signed it with "Wonder Kid" along with a stalk of lavender on the envelope. Will smiles and sniff the lavender happily, as everything is forgiven.
